UE4 Gold and Thunder

UE4 Gold and Thunder UE4.26

- Done in a few week after work hours to satisfy my art craves

- Inspired by concept done by Mike Marra

- Pretty disappointed about how much cellphones contrast and make shadows look more dark :( Will keep that in mind for next time!

- Textures and props were generally sourced from megascans with tweaks and edits done in photoshop substance and maya.

- Using Virtual textures, Distance AO, Raytracing and whatever else fancy I could find.

- Raft was just made using megascan planks put together in maya then a small amount of substance painter overtop.

- Shipwreck was initially a free lowpoly model from turbosquid then transformed to a damaged wrecked ship silhouette, It just has a flat tiling wood planks texture on it and didn't want to spend a copious amount of time building a ship from scratch as its summer and I prefer to be outside instead.

- Rain effects was sourced from the free SoulCity map on marketplace.

- Thunder effects was all made from myself and was my first time using level blueprints in UE. I would like to push it further next time.

- Lights for the lighting effects were from a plugin called Clouds Lighting System which is super cool https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/clouds-lighting-system

- Quick WorldMachine mountains which you dont really see.

- Depth of field and color correction done in NukeX

- Would like do all my own scans again
